About Sabrina Nazar
Sabrina is a Canadian Mixed Media Artist based between Toronto and Maui, HI.
Through the use of texture, form and colour Sabrina expresses and explores the connection between mind and body in her practice. She experiments with a range of mediums in her work including acrylic, pencil, encaustic and collage.
Sabrina's pieces are created and culminated intuitively to connect with those around her on an emotional and sensory level. She works closely with the themes of nature, time, identity and the transference of moments and experience. Her work portrays a rich decadence in its presentation and multimedia layering style while still honoring a raw and vulnerable persona which leaves the viewer feeling an innate humanist connection.
Sabrina is a Scholarship recipient from Concordia University and a BFA Undergrad.
Currently she is pursuing an Associates Degree in Art Therapy at University of Hawaii.
